PEER REVIEW PROCESS

All manuscripts submitted to JOPSEI: Journal of Psychology and Special Education Integration must conform to the journal's Focus and Scope and Author Guidelines. Each manuscript should demonstrate scientific merit, originality, and relevance to the journal's thematic areas.

Manuscripts must be written in clear Indonesian or English. Authors whose native language is not English are encouraged to have their manuscripts professionally edited for grammar and clarity before submission. The submitted work must be original and has not been published or under consideration elsewhere.

All submissions must be free from plagiarism and unethical publication practices. Authors are strongly advised to check the similarity level using plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin or iThenticate) before submitting their work. The editorial team will also verify the originality of each manuscript using the same tools.

Each submitted manuscript will undergo a double-masked peer review process, in which both reviewers and authors remain anonymous to ensure objectivity and fairness. Typically, manuscripts are reviewed by two experts from the journal's editorial board. Reviewers provide constructive and detailed feedback designed to enhance the paper's quality. The editors will consider their comments and recommendations to make a decision whether to accept the manuscript, request minor or major revisions, or reject it.

In some cases, if the opinions of the first two reviewers differ significantly, a third reviewer may be invited to provide an additional evaluation to ensure a balanced and fair judgment.

A manuscript may be rejected for several reasons, including: the topic being out of scope, lack of scientific contribution, methodological weaknesses, low originality, or the author's failure to revise according to reviewers' suggestions without reasonable justification.

The editorial team of JOPSEI is committed to maintaining an objective, transparent, and ethical review process in accordance with international publication standards.
