JOPSEI focuses on the development of psychology and special education and their integration through the publication of research articles, literature reviews, with new findings and rigorous scientific methodology on the following topics:
1. Educational psychology and learning
2. Child and adolescent developmental psychology
3. Social and cultural psychology in educational contexts
4. Special education and inclusive education
5. Learning strategies for children with special needs
6. Evidence-based behavioral interventions and therapies (evidence-based practice)

JOPSEI accepts empirical research manuscripts on the above topics that meet the publication standards in the Journal of Psychology and Special Education.
